She is a seasoned lawyer and advocate of the High Courts of Uganda and South Sudan, holding a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) from Kampala International University and a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice from Uganda’s Law Development Centre.

Petra has a distinguished track record as lead counsel on high-profile cases, demonstrating both legal acumen and strategic insight. Her professional journey includes working with esteemed organizations such as Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) and Integrity, where she provided expert legal counsel and representation. Her collaboration with all five sections of MSF has sharpened her legal proficiency and enriched her understanding of the legal dimensions of humanitarian action in complex environments.
